Radiator for electric forklift motor
Whether it is an electric forklift motor or any other type of motor, after a long period of operation, a large amount of heat is generated inside the motor, causing the internal temperature of the motor to rise continuously, so if it is not timely and effective for heat treatment, it is extremely It may cause a certain degree of damage to the motor, such as burning the generator set, etc., so the motor will usually be equipped with a radiator. But installing a heat sink does not mean that there is no problem, and this still requires the correct use of the heat sink, such as:
1. The radiator of the electric forklift motor needs to be cleaned regularly. In dusty or harsh environments, it is easily blocked by garbage, insects, etc., and foreign matter can be removed with steam or low-pressure water. When cleaning, the water should be flushed from the front end of the radiator toward the fan. If it is the opposite, dirt will accumulate on the inside of the radiator.
2. The radiator needs to be treated with anti-corrosion treatment. Corrosion may be the main cause of failure in the radiator of an electric forklift motor. Always keep the pipe joints from leaking and regularly add water from the top of the radiator to keep the air "airless" in the system. It should be noted that the coolant should be cooled before handling the radiator or disassembling the pipe. After the radiator is replaced, it should be refilled with clean water and added with rust inhibitor.
Therefore, if the radiator is to fully exert the heat dissipation effect, it must be properly installed and used to ensure that the radiator can work normally and stably, so as to ensure that the internal temperature of the electric forklift motor is controlled within a reasonable range. The motor caused damage.
