Switched reluctance drive system for pure electric bus
 
The new switched-resistance drive system for pure electric bus uses a new patented motor structure. Through computer simulation optimization, the system weight is reduced by about 34%, and the peak torque is increased by 20%. The motor controller uses the world's most advanced electronic control technology with automatic online energy optimization and efficient braking energy feedback control. The stall current and instantaneous starting surge current of the new system are reduced by about 50% compared with the original induction motor, and the efficiency of the low speed zone is greatly improved.
 

Performance characteristics:
 
1. The starting current is small, only 30% of the rated current is required, and 1.5 times of rated torque can be started to reduce the impact on the battery system and improve the electromagnetic service life;
 
2. In the wide range of speed and power range, it has high system efficiency, especially suitable for urban bus and other working conditions. Compared with variable frequency drive system, the system saves more than 25% and the cruising range increases by 30%.
 
3. High power density, small size, light weight system, and reduced vehicle load;
 
4. The overload capacity is large, meeting the requirements of the full-load slope of the electric bus;
 
5. Achieve smooth transition of speed control and torque control to ensure stable output torque of electric bus motor and improve passenger comfort;
 
6. Excellent performance in power generation braking and energy feedback, high energy feedback efficiency, and effective improvement of cruising range;
